We found our specialty working with intimate, outdoor elopements and infusing epic outdoor photography into traditional weddings. But why stop there? Epic, outdoor portraits aren't reserved only for those couples! We use the term "Adventure Session" as a catch all for any type of photoshoot. Since we focus on outdoor portraits that incorporate the landscape into the images, adventure felt like a pretty good descriptor. Don't let it scare you off, we are still the adventure-ish type! We excel at finding gorgeous locations that don't require a ton of hiking to access!

You can take a break from the wedding planning while we hang out and spend some time documenting exactly why you want to spend your lives together in the first place!

Why should you get engagement photos?

For many of you, your engagement photoshoot will be the first time you two will experience professional photos together. Selfies are awesome, but they often only show one perspective on your relationship. As your engagement photographer, we will create images that showcase your love through our unique perspective! Let us show you what your love looks like!

What are Engagement Photos used for?

Aside from the opportunity to see your love from another perspective, you'll have a few practical uses for your engagement pictures.

1. Announce your engagement on social media

2. Use your engagement photography session to create jaw-dropping save the dates or wedding invitations (we can help you design those if you'd like!)

3. Print them alongside your wedding photos in an album or as part of a gallery wall to lend some extra variety! (We also help design custom albums and gallery walls!)

4. Decorate your reception with images from your gorgeous, love-filled engagement photo shoot!

5. Plus, you'll get some rad profile pics for social media until you get your wedding photos!

Are Engagement Photos Worth it?

We may be a little biased, but absolutely! When you invest in an engagement photoshoot from a professional photographer you get a couple of extra benefits.

1. Engagement photos give you an opportunity to get a little more comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day, especially if you book them with your wedding photographer.

When can you take couples photos?

Anytime you want! Many of our couples simply want some epic pictures with a gorgeous background. If you're on a trip together, we often recommend booking your photoshoot earlier in the trip! That way, you have the rest of the time to relax and explore!

Why should you book a couples photoshoot?

For the same reason we recommend booking an engagement photoshoot, so you can see your love from another perspective! Photoshoots with us are fun and stress-free! We'll create beautiful images and build you up like your own personal hype team! So you'll get to ride that post-photoshoot high for the rest of your trip!

If you're planning to have a more traditional wedding but you still want all those epic outdoor elopement vibes, you can do that with a bridal photoshoot!

What are bridals or bridal photos?

For some reason in Utah, the term "bridals" now refers to any wedding portrait photoshoot. Traditionally, bridal photos were solo photos of the bride in her dress meant for displaying at the reception. For us, bridals, bridal photos, groomals, formal portraits, wedding portraits, etc. all refer to a photoshoot with you and your partner in your wedding clothes.

Should you include your partner?

Yes. Your wedding story represents the two of you as a couple, so we thinks your photos should primarily feature both of you! We usually take some individuals of both of you during your session so you can still get a handful of that style.

Why should you book a wedding portrait photoshoot?

We love epic, outdoor wedding portraits and we think you will too! We always recommend booking a wedding portrait photoshoot on a day other than your wedding.

Why should you take anniversary photos?

Can you wear your wedding dress?

Absolutely! Many of our anniversary couples got married before the outdoor wedding photography trend and feel like they missed out. No need to feel like that anymore! Put your wedding clothes back on, or get an entirely new wedding outfit and we'll create all those epic elopement style photos for you!

How to take good proposal Photos

We'd highly recommend hiring a professional photographer to help you out with this part! (Hi, we'd love to chat!) To get the best surprise proposal photos:

• Plan your proposal for a time of day when the light is ideal for your location.

• Coordinate a good signal so your photographer knows when you're going to propose

• Position yourself so the photographer can see both of your faces with the view behind you

• If your partner has long hair, make sure you brush it out of their face so your photographer can see their face

• Hire a professional photographer so you don't have to stress any more than necessary. If something doesn't go according to plan, they'll be able to lean on their experience to make it happen regardless!
